Kristof van Baarle is doctor-assistant at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and researcher at KASK – School of Arts (Gent, BE). He works as a dramaturg with Kris Verdonck / A Two Dogs Company, Michiel Vandevelde and others. He is co-editor of Performance and Posthumanism (2020, Palgrave, forthcoming) and Machine made silence. The work of Kris Verdonck (2020, Performance Research). He is part of the editorial board of the Belgian performing arts journal Etcetera.
Felipe Cervera is a Lecturer of Theatre in the School of Dance and Theatre of LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, and an Assistant Professor (Status-only) in the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies of the University of Toronto. His research interests are the interplays between theatre and performance theory with science and technology, as well as collaborative theatre-making and collaborative academia. He co-leads the Singapore-based theatre collective, The Art of Strangers, and serves as Associate Editor of Performance Research and Global Performance Studies.
Rayya El Zein is a cultural ethnographer whose work examines the intersection of motion, emotion, and political mobilization in the Middle East. She is Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Wesleyan University.
Kyoko Iwaki is a JSPS Post-Doctoral researcher at Waseda University. Her research focuses on Japanese theatre of nonhuman genealogy. Prior to entering academia, she has worked over a decade as a theatre critic contributing to Asahi Shimbun Newspaper. Kyoko is the author of Japanese Theatre Today: Theatrical Imaginations of Eight Contemporary Practitioners (2018) and is the Director of Scene/Asia, a pan-Asian research curatorial network.
Eero Laine is the Director of Graduate Studies and Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. He is the author of Professional Wrestling and the Commercial Stage (2020). Eero is the editor of the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism and co-editor of Lateral, the journal of the Cultural Studies Association. He serves as Secretary of Performance Studies international.
